Conceptualise

Located within a new mixed-use development overlooking the Gallery of Modern Art, this new CAU restaurant was fit out over ground and mezzanine floors.

CTC were appointed to Project and Cost Manage, Design in collaboration with Conceptualise, apply for and obtain the Building Warrant and Procure all furniture, fixtures and fittings. CTC were involved from liaison with the property acquisition agent at pre-acquisition stage, reviewing landlord’s technical information, agreeing the demises and monitoring the developers progress.

The interior layout and design of this restaurant was difficult due to the double height shopfront. In order to make the dining area feel cosy, suspended pendant lights and ceiling rafts were installed whilst not restricting the view into the restaurant.  A large feature staircase was installed with a walkway landing at mezzanine level to connect the two floors.
