Bournemouth

A strip out and fit out of a dilapidated and underutilised section of the Debenhams department store in central Bournemouth.

CTC were appointed to conduct a feasibility study to assess if the section of shop could be converted into a restaurant with the existing services and structure for the weighty pizza oven.  Once the assessment was complete and it was deemed possible CTC assisted the in-house designer with the design and produced a full detailed drawing package, Project Managed all stages and gained all statutory consents.  CTC assisted with the procurement of fixtures, fittings and all furniture.

To maximise the visibility of the frontage we opened the view into the facade and located the pizza oven centrally and close to the front of the unit.  The interior design made use of the existing industrial features of the early 1900’s building. To keep within the existing brand finishes colour pallet, we used wooden and tiled floor, scaffold timber clad, tiles and decorated walls along with bespoke wine display cabinets.
